Last week, the Creative Writing class visited the Harwich Historical Society during their long block. Students were given a quick tour of the exhibits and a special tour of the Society's "storage" room where so many wonderful artifacts are kept. Students spent time looking at items carefully and taking notes on one artifact that "spoke" to them. The students are now working on a story of Historical Fiction inspired by the artifact. Many thanks to the Harwich Historical Society and member, Jane Martin, for giving us this opportunity, for taking these photos, and for promising to publish the students' work in the Society newsletter when the pieces are ready!
